“6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 (NIV)

In second Corinthians, Paul writes about our God given nature to desire to be in our heavenly dwelling and that God made us with that desire. What a comfort that is! Faith is the confidence and the hope in things we cannot see, that we don’t even need to see.
Verse 7 has kept Matt’s mind at ease as he returns to school and explores entrepreneurial opportunities in UX and design. He holds to that verse as a comfort and reminder of how we are to live and what God is truly capable of. We put so much faith in little things like our car starting every morning or our chair holding us when we sit down after a long day. We see that (for the most part) the car and the chair will do exactly what they are made to do. But how confident are we in our Creator? It’s convicting, and Matt and I are constantly asking ourselves are we living by faith? The articles you’ll find here reflect on our faith (the easy and the hard parts), and how we are constantly learning, growing, and never giving up on God.
