What does it mean to grow confidently in Christ?
Hey! It’s Sarah, here. After our second child, I became increasingly aware of my shortcomings as a person and as a mom. It was as if adding such joy to my life (my children) brought such a sense of hopelessness and loss for my future. I was always worried about what was going to happen next and how my kids were going to be impacted by my every move. I felt fragile and lost trying to navigate parenting. I wasn’t even doing it alone, but I still felt like I was carrying a burden that I had brought upon myself.
After some much needed therapy, I found that my true desire of my heart was to renew my faith and walk more closely with God. I not only wanted to learn more and deepen my understanding of God, I wanted to confidently share the word of God with my children and with others. DBL is my way of documenting that journey of confidence in the One who is more than able, the one who holds all the answers, the one who knows me by name.
